I try to avoid visiting the supermarkets at all costs. One of the things I liked about NZ was shopping on-line and having groceries delivered for about $10. However, June 1 is day one of hurricane season, and here I am, list in hand, grabbing up two cans of tuna before the shelves empty. I don't even like tuna - unless it's ahi, but I guess we won't be eating sushi by candlelight if one of those bad boys comes calling.
FEMA puts out preparedness info for kids, which is where I get my info since the adult version is just too scary to think about. I have enough trouble packing a suitcase for a vacation. How will I ever be ready to evacuate at a moment's notice? I guess the fashion police won't be participating so.........no worries.
