Still early in the new year, and still upside down in the river. I am not sure how this boat wound up in such a position, but I have discovered that it takes a couple divers in wet suits, several airbags, and a powerful pump to set things to rights again.

After several ups and downs, the lady (are all boats still women now that hurricanes can be either gender?) finally rolls over on her side.

She's still riding low in the water, but the pumps are working hard. Curious byboaters circle the proceedings, probably thankful to have avoided such a predicament. The "better you than me" rationale.

Now she's just listing a bit - still aided by the airbags and tied to the channel marker.

Finally she's off across the river to her home port............not under her own power, of course, but we all need a little help sometimes.
