Workin' for a Living

When we first caught sight of this river train, it was at a complete standstill.

We were certain that the World's Most Observant Grandchild would have had his nose pressed against the window, watching the tug chug up to the middle of the caravan, churn the water with its engine, and shove those big-ass barges up the Caloosahatchee. It's The Little Engine That Could - the Water Version.

We felt obligated to observe the outcome since we don't normally see such a large convoy on the waterway ... besides, we're just as fascinated with all that colorful equipment as the World's Cutest Construction Worker.

The pleasure boats vs. the work boats.

There they go ... dragging their tails behind them.
